What's in a BEANTOWN Window?
All Simonton windows installed by BEANTOWN Home Improvements come standard with:
-
The premium vinyl used in Simonton windows is an excellent insulator and offers low conductivity.
-
ProSolar® Low E glass. A transparent metallic oxide coating applied to the glass to prevent heat from being transferred through the window.
-
Northern Glass Packages. As an ENERGY STAR® partner, we are committed to meeting the strict criteria of the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. EPA to help reduce heating and cooling costs. These glass packages utilize insulating glass units with advanced Low E technology, an Argon gas fill and durable spacer systems that drastically reduces the transfer of heat and cold.
-
Double Lifetime Residential Transferable Warranty

The Windows We Install
Of the windows we install, we put in more double hung windows than anything else. Below is a listing of just the double-hung windows we currently offer and some of their options:
-
-
Harvey windows are a good option and we haven't had many issues. Harvey sliders, well while they are good, we have seen multiple issues over the past ffew years and suggest either Inovo or Softlite.
-
Simonton & Harvey windows and doors are tested to the advanced AAMA Gold Label Certification Program. The Gold Certification is AAMA’s highest level of testing with windows and doors being tested for thermal performance as well as air, water and structural integrity. The standard AAMA silver label only requires thermal testing.

When only real wood will do!
Even though real wood windows require a lot more maintenance than vinyl windows, sometimes based on preference or the current style of the home, a wood veneer might not cut it. That's when a real wood window is the only option.
Andersen windows have been around for quite some time and offers a wide array of solid wood windows and doors to choose from. Their A-series offer solid wood interiors with composite exteriors.

There are many different styles and operating types.
Below are the most common often installed.

Double Hung Window
Both sash on Double Hung windows easily lifts
to open fully and tilts inward for easy cleaning.
Casement Window
The sash is hinged on one side of the window, and swings open a full 90-degrees* by turning the crank handle at the base.

Double Slider Window
This window has two sash that open and close
by sliding from side to side.
Awning Window
The sash as this window is hinged at the top and open outwards when you turn the crank handle at the base.

Bay Window
Bay windows are created by mulling three windows at either 30- or 45-degree angles that extend outward from the frame of the house.
Patio Door
Patio Doors feature broad expanses of glass and easily slide to open and close. Available in 2-, 3- and 4-lite styles.

Garden Door
Garden Doors operate like normal doors--they swing open. Garden Doors can have one fixed door, or both doors can swing in or out.
